The Bible Answers the Question of Whether Aliens Visited Earth
The question whether the earth was visited by alien beings who had an influence on humanity is answered in the Bible. They can be called aliens because they were not from our earth. They came from a realm beyond our physical universe, not another planet. The Bible calls them angels or “sons of God”. These beings were greater in “strength and power” than humans. (2 Peter 2:11) What people believe to have been the mythological Anunnaki were in truth angels, who were part of a rebellion. They possessed knowledge far beyond human understanding. They fathered a race of giant beings called the Nephilim to dominate humanity, at which they succeeded in doing for a short period of time.
The rebellious angels attempted to alter God's plans for the earth. To save humanity from being genetically altered and eventually extinct, it became necessary for God to take drastic action to stop it and not allow it to ever happen again. Thus, the global flood spoken of in Genesis (Genesis 6:1-5) (2 Peter 3:5). Not only Genesis speaks of it but also Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:37-39), one of Jesus’ apostles, Peter (1 Peter 3:19,20), and Jesus’ own brother, Jude (Jude1:6) --two individuals who no doubt learned about it from Jesus, who was personally there to witness it.
The floodwaters forced these beings to abandon their human-like bodies and leave the earth. The civilization they attempted to create was totally wiped away and buried in the history of the earth. Many of the things’ archeologists have uncovered in recent times that cannot be explained or understood may very well be remnants of that condemned civilization.
They returned to the realm beyond the physical universe, a place the Bible calls heaven. Since then, God had tolerated their presence. (Job 1:6,7) They still had the freedom to come and go between heaven and earth, but God took away their ability to materialize human bodies--a condition the Bible calls "Tartarus". (2 Peter 2:4) Their influence on humanity was still permitted. However, the time would eventually come when their presence would no longer be tolerated in heaven. The Apostle John wrote about that moment, and it was in his future. (Revelation 12:7-10)
Many people believe these accounts written about by Bible writers are just allegories, but they are not. They are actual events. They are the true history of humanity starting with its beginnings in the place called Eden, the paradise model God gave Adam and Eve to copy for populating our Earth. Over 1500 years separate Moses writings in Genesis and the writings by Jesus’ disciples. Yet, they agree in every way on the matter of what went wrong in the beginning, who played a role in causing what went wrong, and how it would be fixed. God’s plan for an earthly paradise was delayed but not stopped. It will be accomplished.
